Tricksters – Hysteria
Vanuit ‘de performance’ probeert het TRICKSTER collectief live samen te ‘zijn’. Met gebruik van zelf ontwikkelde parameters ontstaat een improvisatie waarbij zij het thema van de avond betasten in al zijn ritualistische, hedendaagse, mannelijke en vrouwelijke vormen. De Trickster is een figuur van de deuropening, de omweg, het kruispunt – die wat ronddoolt en wacht op het opportune moment, spelend met het toeval. Men kan TRICKSTER beter geen belangrijke culturele taken toevertrouwen.

The TRICKSTER collective are trying to ‘be’ together, using self-developed parameters to build an improvisation in which they palpate the theme of the evening in all its ritualistic, contemporary, masculine and feminine forms. The Trickster is a liminal figure, (s)he who wanders and waits at the crossroads for the opportune moment, knitting a net to catch contingency. TRICKSTER cannot be trusted in carrying out important cultural tasks.
