‘Catch a star’

Well, I sing, I draw, and I write songs and poems. Music and art from all over the world influence and inspire me, especially from Japan, China and the Arab world.
‘Catch a star’ is a song that’s completely improvised; I just recorded track after track with no plan and without listening back in between, in some sort of flow that left no room for anything else.
The song is about catching the moment, yet letting it be; something I strive for in all that I make.
At the same time these lyrics reflect quite well how I experienced Extrapool, a place where people would surely catch a star if they could. Or maybe they wouldn’t. Would you?
